Happy #StitchFixFriday friends!! I am so excited to review my 20th Fix! This month, I asked Lauren for great pieces to support my Alma Mater, The University of Southern Mississippi! It is the start of Fall and football season! As some of you know, we do things a little differently here in the south for football games. Dressing in your school’s colors for a game is definitely a form of self-expression. It is a perfect opportunity to not only support your team, but to showcase your game day fashion! This is what Lauren sent me this month…

Papermoon Kualo Bow Back Knit Top in Yellow ($38) STATUS: RETURNED and

Just Black Cordelia Skinny Jean in Black ($78) STATUS: MINE!!

Let’s talk about the top first. I love how comfortable this top is! It is very simple and basic, yet very soft! The back has the cutest bow detail! The only reason I sent this one back is due to having a few similar styles in my closet already.

The jeans are spot on! So comfortable, great stretch, and perfect fit. I own another pair of Just Black jeans that I received in a previous Fix and I love them too! I knew that when I saw these in the box they were a keeper!

Pixley Breonna V-Neck Dress in Black (and White) ($68) STATUS: RETURNED…SAD FACE!

First of all, let me say that I LOVED this dress! I love the “fit and flare” style! The way the stripes are patterned is also very complimentary to my body type! I paired this dress with a suede jacket and my favorite lace up wedges! I was so hurt that I had to send this one back! The dress fit great, but there was a good bit of bunching at the lower waist in the back. The only way to fix this was to cover it up. A larger size would have made the dress too big in other areas. I also travel alone a lot for work, and needed help to zip it up, since the zipper is in the back. I could never wear this one for work purposes, so I returned it.

Market & Spruce Whitfield Crochet Detail Top in Mustard ($58) STATUS: RETURNED

How lovely! This one is in mustard, but in true color, it looks more like “Tennessee Vol” orange. The crochet detail at the top is very beautiful and intricate. This top is very comfortable, airy, and light. I had a slight fit issue with this one being too big. Stitch Fix now offers size exchanges at check-out! This is a great option for procrastinators like me! In the past, I would wait too long to contact support for a possible size exchange. Now, I don’t have that problem! I didn’t ask for a size exchange for this one. Next to all my “gold” stuff for games, it just looked way too orange. So, back it went.

Street Level Juno Small Folded Clutch in Black ($38) STATUS: HELLO NEW FRIEND!

I own absolutely nothing like this! This clutch is SO clutch! It is cute and dainty and goes with so much that I already own! It is also the perfect bag for a little money, my cell phone, and lipstick! That is all I need at the games! The chain detail adds another great element to the bag! Two ways to carry, lots of storage space, and great versatility! It’s a win!

A big shout out to Lauren for this great 2/5 Fix ! I won a contest through Stitch Fix, so big shout out to Stitch Fix for the credit that made this Fix free for me! I’m so excited to wear my pieces to the games this season! See you guys next month with a Fall transition Fix!
